Vladimir Kalinov is a seasoned banking executive with over two decades of leadership experience in risk management, governance, and retail banking. He has been a force in driving digital transformation and innovating customer experience within the traditional banking sector, successfully merging digital tools with human expertise to create a modern, hybrid service model.
Throughout his extensive career with the Raiffeisen Bank International AG group, particularly at Raiffeisen Bank in Romania, Mr. Kalinov has held several key executive and board positions. His leadership roles have included Executive Member of the Board for both the Retail and Risk Divisions and Board memberships at Aedificium Banca pentru Locuinte S.A., Raiffeisen Leasing IFN SA, and the Romanian credit bureau, Biroul de Credit S.A.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Kalinov is committed to community service, having served on the boards of United Way Romania and the American International School of Bucharest. He holds a Master of Arts in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School, underscoring his commitment to excellence in corporate governance.
