Cristian ALEXE has an important experience in the field of civil aviation in Romania with an activity of approx. 20 years. As a graduate of the Politehnica University of Bucharest - Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, he specialized in his professional activity in airport management with an emphasis on operational safety.
Since 2008 he held important positions within the Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB), the company that manages the capital's airports, with a 2019 passenger traffic registered of over 14 million passengers and approx. 300 aircraft movements per day. He currently holds the position of Airport Safety Director, being responsible for the safe operation of aircrafts 24/7 and in all weather conditions, without any operational incidents at the airports managed by CNAB.
Since 2017 he was nominated in the board of ?tefan cel Mare Airport in Suceava, accepting the challenge of managing the activity of a regional airport and having as objectives the improvement of business activity and efficiency targets and the increase of passenger traffic in order to facilitate the connectivity of Romania's Northeast region in the European Context.
Cristian ALEXE holds numerous qualifications and specializations in the aeronautical field from designing flight procedures to ensuring business continuity and leadership. Having a certification as ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) auditor in the airport field he was invited to participate in audit activities of airports from three continents.
Sorana Baciu is a senior executive and consultant who supports organisations grow sustainable. She has extensive expertise in strategy development and implementation, change management and corporate governance, with over 20 years in senior positions in the private and public field. Mrs. Baciu has had an international career in investment and commercial banking (ING Bank and Porsche Finance Group, Romania), as well as in oil & gas (OMV Petrom SA and Romgaz SA). In the recent years (2015-2017) she was also a non-executive director for listed SOEs in Romania (Romgaz SA and IAR SA, a Romanian helicopter producer).

Alexandru Bute has a background in various front and management roles and pockets of finance, from Sales & Trading to Asset Management, to Consulting and to Wealth Management, combined with more and more stints with entrepreneurs in the tech and non-tech space along the way. Some of the names he has worked for include Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, Dubai Investment Authority, Syngenta and Avaron Asset Management.

Having a large professional background, Ph.D. in economics, economist and jurist, I gained robust experience in managing Financial and Accounting departments, as well as Audit Departments, in a wide range of fields, both in local and multinational companies, including listed companies.
I participated as CFO as well as Member of Directorate of SPEEH Hidroelectrica SA, the largest power producer in Romania, at the greatest transformation of a Romanian State own company. We managed to change Hidroelectrica from a company in insolvency to Romania's most profitable company in 2016, with a gross profit of almost lei 1.8 billion (according to IFRS) over the profits obtained by OMV Petrom and respectively ROMGAZ.
I have been focused on banking and financial and non-banking legislation, especially in the field of NFIs where I have worked for over 7 years. I know the legislation applicable to the energy sector where I also worked for about 4 years. I have participated to the implementation of many ERP systems, Oracle, Navision, SAP, etc. for which I have received European awards.

Alina Mioara Cobuz Bagnaru is a Senior Lawyer and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 1995. She is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA – Section of Business Law), an Arbitrator of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, an Associated Lector of the Academy of Economic Studies, an Arbitrator of the Bucharest Chamber of Arbitration, a FIDIC specialist and a claim and litigation expert.

Radu Craciun is currently CEO of BCR Pensions after being in the previous 2 years the Chief-Economist and Director of Financial Markets Research at Banca Comerciala Romana. Until the spring of 2016, Radu Craciun was the Chairman of the Romanian Association of Financial-Banking Analysts. His professional background blends the solid expertise acquired on the one hand in financial markets research and asset management and, on the other hand, in corporate governance and strategic management.
Radu Craciun has been working for more than 17 years in domestic and international financial markets, holding positions such as: Chief Investment Officer in Eureko Private Pensions, Chief Analyst in ABN AMRO Bank Romania and ABN AMRO Securities Romania. Valentin has a 20-year work experience in investment banking/corporate finance and private equity investment funds and another 7 years as engineer in a construction and installation company for the oil and gas sector. Cristina Harea is an experienced senior executive in financial services with over 20 years public and private sector background, member of executive and supervisory boards.
In 2016-2020 Cristina served as a Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova (NBM), being part of a reformist team that implemented an ambitious transformation of the Moldovan banking sector post crisis - adoption and transition to EU- harmonized legislation, transparency and fit & proper requirements for banking shareholders and administrators, attraction of international quality investors into the local banks, implementation of best practices in corporate governance, risk management, etc. These reforms were supported and highly appreciated by international development partners like International Monetary Fund, EU Commission, World Bank, National Bank of Romania, etc.
Prior to joining the NBM, Cristina Harea worked for over 14 years in private equity, gaining significant investment experience and professional seniority with leading regional firm Horizon Capital (Ukraine, Moldova) and later on with Gazelle Finance (Georgia, Armenia). Neil McGregor is a British corporate & commercial lawyer and man of business who has been based in Bucharest since 1996, working with international and local companies in various countries in south central Europe. A corporate governance specialist, he began his career working with listed companies in the UK and began to invest in listed companies in the privatisations carried out under Margaret Thatcher’s government. As well as dealing with the practical issues of regulatory disclosures, organising general meetings of shareholders and liaising with institutional investors, his UK experience includes taking one client company to an initial listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and subsequently to a full listing on the London Stock Exchange.
In addition to the legal work which he and his colleagues provide for Romanian companies (including mergers and acquisitions work relating to listed and unlisted targets), Neil continues to provide legal work under English law for companies in the UK, using the same standards in each. This includes dealing with company secretarial work, such as acting as the company secretary of a regulated educational charity in the UK.
Particularly since becoming the Chairman of the bilateral British Romanian Chamber of Commerce, Neil has sought to use the Chamber and its links with business, government and diplomacy to promote good corporate governance and, consequently, of the participation of good companies with sustainable businesses in the capital markets.

Emma Popa-Radu has been active in investments and Private Equity for over 20 years. Elena Popescu Munteanu
Elena Popescu is a leader with over 25 years of experience in the Pharma industry, operating in multiple European countries and particularly in Eastern Europe, one of the executives who actively participated in shaping the strategic plans and investment strategies in the regional Pharma industry. In her roles, she contributed to the Romanian Pharma market development, to the access and distribution of innovative medicines to Romanian patients, fostering a transparent and ethical business environment. During the last 10 years, Elena held regional Financial Director roles, covering 16 countries in different stages of development and maturity of the pharma market. She coordinated the set-up and optimization of different operating models and financial processes in line with corporate and local regulatory requirements.
In addition to the professional activity, she is chairing the Audit Committee at the American International School in Vienna, a non-profit organization providing schooling based on an international curriculum to close to 1,000 students.
Elena graduated from the Bucharest Polytechnical Institute, Faculty of Computer Science, and later obtained a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Administration at ICHEC Brussels Management School in Belgium.
Alina Prahoveanu is founder and managing partner of OFIN Consulting and, during her work experience she was involved in business and financial consulting services, tax consulting, transfer pricing engagements, merger&acquisitions for companies mainly in energy and resources sector.
Fiscal Consultant, member of Chamber of Fiscal Consultants, member of Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR), member of Certified Accountants Body (CECCAR), Alina was member of the team who implemented the IAS for the first time in Romania, under the coordination of Public Finance Ministry (co-author to Practical Guidelines to IAS implementation, published in 2001).
During her work experience as a CFO/Group CFO for the biggest worldwide steel producer – Arcelor Mittal and for the biggest group in recycling industry in SE Europe – Green Group, she develops financial transactional and information systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances and support the decision-making process of the Board of the company,
She is passionate of business in general and strategy in special. Her research: “Management Accounting and Strategic Positioning of Company” was awarded by Iasi University with PhD Degree.
Carmen Seghete is a professional in investment management with over 20 years of experience and leadership in investment funds and listed and unlisted companies, management of companies, financial management and corporate governance. Since 1996 she has been executive and/or non executive director, member of Supervisory Boards or Boards of Directors in 20 public and private companies from Romania and Bulgaria active in the manufacturing industries (Braiconf, Macofil, Orgachim, Orgachim Resins, Policolor, Ruse Chemicals, Titan), industrial services (Imsat), logistic services (First Logistics and Distribution, Silotrans, Socep), investment management and financial advisory services (New Europe Capital), brokerage (Capital Securities), real estate (Rolast), etc. Currently she is a non executive Board member of Policolor.
Carmen has built and managed portfolios with public and private companies from Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia, she has organized and negotiated the acquisitions and sales of the companies in the portfolio of the investment funds she has worked for, managed the relationship management-shareholders-directors of parent and subsidiary companies, was deeply involved in the financial activity of some investee companies (budget projections, financial results, evaluation, audit, consolidation) sometimes being member of the Audit Committee (Orgachim), contributed to the development of companies through buyouts or sales of assets / divisions / plants / companies, relocation of activities and factories, mergers and demergers, have identified and hired people in top management and negotiated their motivational packages.
Carmen graduated from the Bucharest Polytechnic University with a M. Eng. in Electronics and Telecommunications, and attended numerous training and specialization courses in finance both in Romania and abroad.
Mihai Sfintescu has 23 years of successful track-record in private equity, venture capital & investment banking (M&A). He has invested in numerous companies and helped them to grow as a member of their Board of Directors.
In recent years, Mihai led 3TS Catalyst Romania, a venture capital fund dedicated to Romania, which made 10 investments and has an annualized IRR of over 30% on 30.06.2017. Currently, Mihai Sfintescu is in fundrasing with a new private equity fund. At the same time, Mihai acts as advisor on mergers & acquisitions and private equity / venture capital portfolio management.
Between 2007 and 2016, Mihai Sfintescu was a Partner at 3TS Capital Partners, a leading private equity and venture capital firm that has made investments such as Avangate (together with Gecad / Radu Georgescu) and Unirea Medical Center (currently Regina Maria, along with Wargha Enayati).
Prior to 2007, Mihai was an investment banker specialized in mergers & acquisitions, both at his own firm Abilito Capital and as Director and Member of the Board of Directors of CA IB Romania (now part of UniCredit Group). Mihai has participated in many transactions, including some over EUR 100 million, such as the acquisition by CEZ of Electrica Oltenia.
Mihai is a member of Invest Europe, the European private equity and venture capital association, as well as mentor in several start-ups and scale-ups such as RBL-Mentoria (Bucharest), Hubraum (Krakow) or How To Web (Bucharest).

Florentina Susnea is the managing partner of PKF Finconta with over 26 years of experience in tax area, using her experience gained over the years for a large number of clients with a wide range of activities.

Sebastian Tcaciuc is currently an independent advisor and consultant to private equity funds investing in Romania and other CEE countries. He has 18 years of private equity, corporate finance and asset management experience, with proven track record in sourcing, structuring, closing and managing private equity investments across various sectors. Sebastian has served on the Board of Directors of 9 companies, some of which publicly-listed in Bucharest and/or London. As a Director with Advent International (2005-2014), he worked on large a number of transaction processes, including all Advent’s investments in Romania and Turkey. Prior to joining Advent International, Sebastian worked with ING Corporate Finance & Equities (2002-2005), Alpha Bank (2001-2002) and Delta Lloyd Investment Research (2000-2001). Speranta Tirsar is a business advisor, with a 20+ years experience in international financial companies, where she has acquired an important expertise in business set-up and development, at a regional level.
Between 2010 and 2017, she was Head of Central and Eastern Europe of SACE SpA, the Export Credit Agency of Italy. In this role, she set up the regional CEE office in Bucharest, defined the growth strategy and managed the operations of the hub in the 15 countries of the region. In her activity, Mrs. Tirsar worked with supranationals, governmental insitutions, multinationals, local blue chips, SMEs and banks in the region.
