Alina Prahoveanu is founder and managing partner of OFIN Consulting and, during her work experience she was involved in business and financial consulting services, tax consulting, transfer pricing engagements, merger&acquisitions for companies mainly in energy and resources sector.

Fiscal Consultant, member of Chamber of Fiscal Consultants, member of Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors (CAFR), member of Certified Accountants Body (CECCAR), Alina was member of the team who implemented the IAS for the first time in Romania, under the coordination of Public Finance Ministry (co-author to Practical Guidelines to IAS implementation, published in 2001).

During her work experience as a CFO/Group CFO for the biggest worldwide steel producer – Arcelor Mittal and for the biggest group in recycling industry in SE Europe – Green Group, she develops financial transactional and information systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s finances and support the decision-making process of the Board of the company,

She is passionate of business in general and strategy in special. Her research: “Management Accounting and Strategic Positioning of Company” was awarded by Iasi University with PhD Degree.

Having a large professional background, Ph.D. in economics, economist and jurist, I gained robust experience in managing Financial and Accounting departments, as well as Audit Departments, in a wide range of fields, both in local and multinational companies, including listed companies.

I participated as CFO as well as Member of Directorate of SPEEH Hidroelectrica SA, the largest power producer in Romania, at the greatest transformation of a Romanian State own company. We managed to change Hidroelectrica from a company in insolvency to Romania's most profitable company in 2016, with a gross profit of almost lei 1.8 billion (according to IFRS) over the profits obtained by OMV Petrom and respectively ROMGAZ.

I have been focused on banking and financial and non-banking legislation, especially in the field of NFIs where I have worked for over 7 years. I know the legislation applicable to the energy sector where I also worked for about 4 years. I have participated to the implementation of many ERP systems, Oracle, Navision, SAP, etc. for which I have received European awards.

I am a member of the professional associations of accountants, auditors, tax advisors and internal controllers and I am a follower of corporate governance, including SOX type, as an effective tool for risk management but alsof or increasing the wealth of shareholders.

Simona Fatu is an experienced director standing for more than 17 years in the management boards and boards of directors of subsidiaries of international financial institutions, privately-owned listed companies as well as in majority state-owned companies from energy sector, mineral resources, and real estate. Her area of expertise includes, without being limited to corporate governance, business strategy, strategic management, corporate finance, and business development. In 2021, she held the position of State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy being responsible for the portfolio management of 70 state-owned companies.

Simona has been awarded, in 2021, by Henley Business School, University of Reading with a Post Graduate Certificate in “Board Practice and Directorship”. She is also passionate corporate governance lecturer with various public and private educational institutes.

Advisor, working with Boards and CEOs to enhance the vision, mission and values in this rapid changing environment while adapting dynamically the strategy, tactics and consequent uniform and synchronized objectives of the company organizational structures.

Having a strategic approach and focusing on risk management, Bogdan has an international experience in helping companies to integrate ESG factors and climate related risks into strategic planning, thus helping to implement sustainability principles in the business model of companies. At the same time, Bogdan supports organizations to improve their financial and non-financial reporting in accordance with the regulations in force and the best sectoral practices.

Bogdan has an extensive expertise in management consulting, risk management and strategy, gained in over 20 years of international practice in the UK, Spain, Austria and Romania, in energy, tourism, insurance and banking sector. He is a member of the Institute for Risk Management (IRM) in London, has an international degree in Risk Management and has completed an MBA program at the International Institute of Management in Paris. He is also vice-president of climate change special interest group (SIG) of IRM London, an organization that published in September 2021 the first climate risk management guide designed to support boards of directors and risk managers in all sectors of activity.

Florin Andrei

Florin Andrei

Vice President
Florin Andrei is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, mostly in banking, currently holding the position of Risk Control Director within NN Romania. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Top Seeds SA and a member of the Audit Committee of NN Asigurari. The main areas of expertise are risk management, audit and internal control, compliance.
Passionate about macro-economic analysis, he holds a PhD in Finance at Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is also a certified financial auditor and authorized accountant and is currently following an Executive MBA program at the University of Maastricht.
Florin teaches students from the Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stock Exchanges (Bucharest University of Economic Studies) as an associate professor, a position he has held since 2013.
Interested in the entrepreneurial environment, as a mentor and consultant, Florin is involved in start-up acceleration programs.

Iulia has over 25 years of experience in financial audit, financial accounting and fiscal consulting, and management, being a trusted consultant for NGOs and companies active in various fields of activity such as IT, industrial production, FMCG, construction, IFN, and services, with private Romanian or foreign shareholders. Iulia also has an entrepreneurial perspective, inspiring her team of professionals from Argus Audit and Argus Employment, specializing in tax consultancy, financial audit, accounting, payroll, and management consultancy.
Iulia is Vice President on the Board of Directors of BKR International EMEA, an international association of professional accountants and auditors.
Iulia is an active member of the professional bodies Chamber of Financial Auditors, Chamber of Fiscal Consultants, Body of Accounting Experts, and Chartered Accountants. Iulia is an active member of CEO Clubs and Owner Club in the Advisors group.
Iulia is a member of the Association of Independent Administrators.
Iulia has professional financial training and graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies. Her professional development continued with the graduation Executive MBA organized by Tiffin University, Ohio, USA, in collaboration with the University of Bucharest, Romania, thus crowning his continuous effort of excellence in management and business.
Willing to contribute to improving corporate governance, Iulia graduated from Henley Business School, UK's complete post-graduate program, Board Practice and Directorship, MABPD, continuously developing her knowledge to offer maximum support and professionalism as an Independent Member of Boards of Directors.
