Speranta Munteanu is a Senior Advisor at KPMG on Strategy and Restructuring. After heading as Partner, the Restructuring Services, KPMG Romania and CEE, she took a role on advising KPMG on internal and client strategy and senior staff and executive mentoring. She is certified insolvency practitioner with an extensive knowledge in the area of turnaround and liquidation processes. Speranta was project manager for a significant number of major restructuring and insolvency assignments in the Romanian market, and therefore has a deep understanding of the issues likely to be faced by business and its stakeholders during a corporate transformation period. She is a partner and senior Advisor of KPMG Restructuring SPRL, the insolvency practitioner entity member of KPMG Romania group. Speranta is a Certified Appraiser, member of the Romanian National Valuators Association (ANEVAR), since 1994, RICS member since 2009 and founding member of UNPIR (The Insolvency Practitioners Romanian Association). She is a founding member of the Romanian Chapter of the Turnaround Manager Association, and former Charter President and an alumni of the INSEAD International Directors Program (IDP 31)
