 R?zvan Szilagyi has over 25 years of professional experience in sectors such as banking, telecommunications, and transportation. He has held senior management and/or board positions for more than 10 years. A significant part of this experience took place under the authorization and supervision of the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority, in a context where corporate governance played a key role. Over the past decade, he has focused on studying and improving his leadership.
From an academic perspective, he was part of the first cohort of the Corporate Governance in Action program at Henley Business School – MA Board Practice and Directorship Programme, dedicated to training professional board members. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Doctoral School of Finance, researching the topic: “The Impact of Corporate Governance on the Performance of Listed Companies.”
