 Ramona Istrate is an executive with over 20 years of professional experience in finance, gained in the field of financial and accounting management across various industries such as pharmaceuticals, real estate, IT, retail, automotive, financial services, telecommunications, and healthcare. 
Her career has progressed from operational accounting roles to the position of CFO, through leading complex teams and shaping financial strategies for one of the most important pharmaceutical chains in Romania.
Her professional expertise covers accounting, tax advisory, IFRS reporting, consolidations, transfer pricing, mergers and demergers, forensic accounting, due diligence, restructurings, and M&A. She also has solid expertise in financial management and corporate governance, strategic planning, risk and performance management, as well as in implementing modern financial processes and systems.
Ramona holds a Law degree from “Al. I. Cuza” University of Ia?i and a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She is a Chartered Accountant (CECCAR member), a Certified Tax Consultant (CCF member), and an Executive MBA graduate from ASEBUSS and Georgia State University, with a strong background in IFRS reporting and executive CFO programs.
