Raluca Nicolescu, Executive Director, Small & Medium Enterprises, Raiffeisen Bank
Raluca is a multidisciplinary leader with 20+ years’ experience in designing and delivering financial products and business solutions across range of financial environments, partnering directly with EUR 250m+ organizations as well as high-growth SMEs, entrepreneurs and micro-businesses.
Raluca is currently the Head of SME segment at Raiffeisen Bank where she is responsible for developing a pipeline of solutions to include customer experience, products, service offer, and distribution channels as well as for drafting and executing the SME digital agenda, including overseeing the SME agile product development teams.
Previously, Raluca was the Treasurer of the bank and had different positions in risk management or corporate areas, where she has accumulated a strong track record in optimization of investment portfolios, balance sheets and capital
through synthetic securitization schemes, credit protection instruments, portfolio insurance and investment strategy.
From corporate governance perspective, she served as a temporary non-executive Board Member of Romanian Air Traffic Services Administration ROMATSA R.A., between March-September 2021.
Raluca is a CFA Charterholder, has an EMBA degree from the University of Sheffield, graduated Executive Development Program with the Wharton School, ICMA Fixed Income Certificate program, and various programs on sustainable finance and digital transformation.
