Alexandra is an investment professional with over 14 years of experience in investment banking and private equity with proven track record with sourcing, structuring, closing M&A transactions and managing equity and debt investments across various sectors. She currently manages the Investment Banking Department at BT Capital Partners, part of Banca Transilvania Financial Group and member of Oaklins, international M&A alliance.

Previously, she was advisor to the State Secretary and to the Deputy Prime Minister, within the Ministry of Economy, regarding the improvement of the State-owned enterprises and implementation of the 109 Law on corporate governance procedures for public enterprises.

Prior to this she was a part of the investment team of Abris Capital Partners managing around EUR 1.2 bn of capital in CEE. Previously, she was part of Alpha Bank Investment Banking division in Bucharest and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris where she advised on merger & acquisition transactions covering Emerging Markets (CEE and Africa).

She has extended experience in the areas as merger & acquisitions and capital markets transactions, private equity, company growth and strategy, financing and refinancing, organisational restructuring, corporate governance, working in international environment and at management and Board levels. She has also served as member of the Board in several large or medium organizations.

Alexandra graduated the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest and UPEC - Université Paris-Est Créteil, France and has a Master’s Degree from Université Paris-Sud, France in Strategy and Financial Engineering. Alexandra is also a Certified Executive and Board Coach, working with leaders-from startup entrepreneurs to C-level executives.
