With over 25 years of experience in banking, Mircea Busuioceanu is Vice-President of the Risk Division of Raiffeisen Bank Romania. He graduated from the University of Finance and Banking – Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, and he started his career in 1996. Since 2002 he is part of Raiffeisen Bank team, in which he had several roles in the risk management area, before taking over the current position – Chief Risk Officer in 2011.
He holds an EMBA at the University of Sheffield, has also studied at INSEAD and Henley Business School (UK), where he obtained the Master of Arts in Board Practice & Directorship.
Since 2023, Mircea Busuioceanu is a member of the Board of Directors of the Romanian Association of Banks.
