Dorina Iuliana Popescu has nearly 25 years of experience in the banking and capital markets sectors, specializing in corporate governance, banking regulation, and legal support for management bodies. She currently serves as Corporate Governance Director at Garanti Bank S.A., coordinating corporate governance activities, regulatory relations, and decision-making processes related to the bank’s governing bodies.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in major banking sector projects, including mergers, bond issuances, regulatory approval processes, and compliance-related initiatives. She has held management
positions within Garanti Bank S.A, Bancpost S.A., and institutions active in the capital markets sector.

She holds a Law degree and completed the postgraduate program “Corporate Governance that Creates Value” organized by Envisia – Board of Elite in partnership with the Bucharest Stock Exchange and Romano – Americana University.
