Gianina is a former banker, having over 25 years experience, out of which 21 years in BRD Groupe Societe Generale. She worked for 15 years as manager in different fields or areas: sales, quality, inovation and processes optimization, loans origination, loan restructuring and workout, coordinating teams of 300+ employees and 1,5 billion+ Euro loans.
During previous crisis, Gianina coordinated the BRD Restructuring and Recovery Department of and the Non-Performing Committee of the Romanian Banks Association.
Gianina is member of the Turnaround Management Association Romania for ten years and was involved in reviewing the Insolvency Law in 2014 and EU Directive for Restructuring and Insolvency in 2022.
Starting 2016, Gianina has been acting as consultant for financing and refinancing loans, financial and operational restructuring projects, in or out of Court, M&A projects and debts/ non-performing assets sales.
In 2021, for 6 months, she was Economy Ministry counselor for state owned company restructuring project and CFR Marfa SA Board member and from May 2021 she is Board member at Termoenergetica SA.
