Since 2006, George Mucibabici is the Chairman of Deloitte Romania.
Before that, he was the Chairman & CEO of Unicredit-Tiriac Bank.
Between 1990-1999 he was a General Director in the National Bank of Romania.
Between 1991-1992 he led a group of experts who drafted the first Security and Exchange Law for Romania.
During 1994-1996 he served as Board Member in the IMF - Washington D.C. While in the IMF, he also served as Member in the Investment Committee for the IMF – WB Pension Fund.
He is a Founding Member of ACI Romania and its President between 1997-2000. Between 2001-2005 he served as a Member of the ACI Global Executive Committee representing the CEE Associations.
He also served in the first Board of the Romanian Credit Bureau between 2003-2004.
Between 2005-2021 he served as Board Member of the American International School in Bucharest.
He is a Founding Member of Envisia Business School and the Chairman of the Deloitte Romania Foundation.
George holds a BSc in Finance from Bucharest School of Economics and a PG Certificate in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley School of Business, University of Reading.
