Graduated in finance and economics and a master’s degree in financial audit, Valentina held different roles within internal audit functions in two of the top banks in Romanian market.

She is an expert in risk management field, having an extensive working experience in risks and control system assessment in banking and other financial services. Through her activity, Valentina promoted the risk culture, implementation of internal governance best practices and actions based on ethics, integrity, responsibility, and professionalism. She was involved in several audit engagements, working together with diverse teams both at local and international level. At the same time, she joined the different public initiatives regarding the promotion of management and governance best practices in state institutions.

Currently, Valentina continues to ensure support and consultancy for business environment through projects related to financial services risk and regulatory, being part of PwC Romania – Risk Assurance team.
