I have 20 years of experience as an executive leader in general management, mainly in the international transportation industry. I had the roles of General Manager (for UPS) both in Romania and regionally - Hungary/Greece; I also worked as an expat, also in the role of General Manager in Italy and Switzerland for UPS. In these roles, I led teams of over 1000 people and had the responsibility of managing businesses worth over half a billion USD.
I completed this experience with other roles as a member in Professional Associations from Romania and Italy, but also as a board member  in public companies, respectively in the Board of Directors of  Societatea de Transport STB SA.
Recently, I have been appointed  to be General Manager for the American company Stericycle - market leader in Romania in the field of medical waste - where I also gained experience in a niche field, very strongly regulated.
I carried out my activity successfully in the context of cultural or language differences, and I formed and developed my management style adapting to the cultural and socio-economic specifics of the respective country with ease. I brought value and results due to the pragmatic approach, consistency, vision and creativity that characterize me.
I am passionate about the subject of corporate governance.
