Alexandru Bute has a background in various front and management roles and pockets of finance, from Sales & Trading to Asset Management, to Consulting and to Wealth Management, combined with more and more stints with entrepreneurs in the tech and non-tech space along the way. Some of the names he has worked for include Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, Dubai Investment Authority, Syngenta and Avaron Asset Management.

He is an MBA graduate of Manchester Business School, where he focused on entrepreneurship and strategy and was awarded a University scholarship. Won as part of a three people team the RSM Private Equity case competition in 2011, held in Rotterdam, judged by TPG, PwC, and Waterline PE.

Since 2012, he has had a lot of exposure in privately advising first generation entrepreneurs in Continental Europe and/or their executive teams. Another of his area of experience is intergenerational succession in family-owned European private businesses with focus on corporate governance, cultural change and technological impact. He likes to approach situations from different industries/countries perspectives and come with fresh, unconventional strategies to tackle sensitive entrepreneurial issues. In 2012 he came from UK to Zurich, Switzerland, where he is still working.
